Permanent employment
« on: 24 September 2013, 21:27:55 »

In May of this year I was offered a temporary job in a local Ford dealership which was supposed to last 2 months. The first month I did my job and kept my head down but once I settled in I started helping the goods in lads and serving in the parts section when it was quiet, something the other drivers wouldn't dream of doing. I think the boss could see I wanted to work and he's done his best to keep me there, renewing my contract on a monthly basis. Anyway today I got called up to the office and he told me that I had a permanent job with them from the end of this month. I will still be driving but i've asked if they will teach me to use the parts systems so I can answer the phones to the customers as well, another string to the bow just incase ::)

Needless to say, i'm over the moon plus I get Ford, Vauxhall, MG/Rover, Land Rover, Jaguar, Citroen and Peugeot parts and consumables at cost price, which is nice  :)

Under-steer is when the front of the car hits the wall, and over-steer is when the rear of the car hits the wall.
Power is how fast you hit the wall and torque is how much of the wall you take with you.
