either disconnect bonnet switch or pull the mounting bracket up ,so it makes a better contact

help please.i cant start my 2.5 elite,the eml keeps flashing on dash.the immobiliser has cut the fuel pump dead.how do i rectify this problem any idears

thanks all for the replies,,managed to get to mates garage and he cleared the codes for me.now the eml is off.and the mig is better again(shes not poorly any more).once again thanks all

i have codes 0700 saying transmission control system (MIL request) and a code 0727 saying engine speed input circuit no signal..now ive changed the camshaft sensor for a genuine vauxhall one cost of £75 from vauxhall,,but the eml stays on with these codes still there,,anyone know how to get rid of these codes,,would be most appreciated,

I have this come up on mine when ive been putting me foot down.,and the eml stays on...to get rid of it i plug the code reader in and clear the code,it works every time

i know the wiring on some radios are different to others eg;the live and permanent live are the other way round ,,and some the earth and live are the same .have you check the wiring is the same.and the loom is car the same,,as these can be different.you will need a vehical tester.
