EPC says that Omega A, Senator B & Omega B/B2 all use the same front hub assembly, GM# 90486467 / Opel KAT# 16-03-194. Not carried forward onto newer GM models.

And you're right, it's very likely that there is only one source supplying the hub assemblies and they are rebranded with whatever the buyer requests. It's also very likely that actual production ceased years ago and that anything available of whatever brand is actually old stock, dumped on the market to the highest bidder or bought up by old stock specialists. There are simply not enough Omegas or Cateras left to make it worthwhile for anyone to tool-up and manufacture any new parts.

The Ridex parts you ordered and the ESEN-SKV parts you received should be equivalent to each other and the factory fit and should work.

How did you clean out the bores for the sensors?

The best deal I could find on new sensors was from USA. These sensors was specified to fit 1997 Cadillac Catera, but the OEM part number (90509421) matched. Could this be an issue?..
Were the Cadillac ABS sensors genuine GM or were they third party?

@Titanium

The Omega versions were all superseded by the Vectra part 95517483. The only difference is that the Vectra version has a curtain shroud around the vacuum port. Otherwise it's identical as to function and fit. Good for any Omega B or B2.

A genuine GM part has been hard to come by for some years. However the ones here seem to be good quality, at least the last one I bought was. Looked to be a genuine part.

The one you linked to in the post above is allegedly part# 90566947 which is without the shroud. This has been superseded. 90566947 is still fine if it's good quality. If it's not then the vacuum spigot might snap off due to the poor quality plastic.

Omega General Help / Re: Plenum painting

Did the engines leave Ellesmere Port with the plenum painted? Weren't the plenums the natural colour of the cast alloy?

GM# 93182283 is the GM part number for a pair of 296 x 28mm Omega front discs.
GM# 9192124 is the GM part number for a set of GM aftermarket spec (same as TradeClub) Omega front pads.

The end connector of the front pad wear sensor might fall apart when you try to disconnect the old cable from the pad. Omega B has one sensor each side. Omega B2 (Facelift) has only one on the left side (in the UK), so probably on the driver's side in your case. The GM part # is 90495144 / Opel KAT 62-38-323. So it might be a good idea to have a new cable to hand. There should be plenty of 3rd party equivalents so there's a good chance you can get one from a local car parts shop. Or don't replace it all, unless it's required to be fitted and working for a Finnish MOT.

I could buy front brake kit 1515005, 93175466 by 30 euro but not sure if it fits to my 2001 Y26SE

W0L0VBM6911079201

So many possibilities, ambulance police etc. Air cooled, yes, but seem to be various diameters etc., so expensive, don't want to take a risk...
Opel KAT 1515005 / GM# 93175466 is the kit that contains 296 x 28mm discs and brake pads both correct for any Omega V6. 30 Euro seems a bargain price. Is the kit a genuine GM or is it aftermarket? Where's it coming from?

Omega General Help / Re: 2.2 Head Gasket Material Type

This would be my choice.

That's a Payen DP820 kit. Has a nice cork cam cover gasket. For a 2.0l in a Carlton, probably 8v.

JamesV6CDX asked about a 2.2 which is a 16v and much newer. The Payen head gasket set is DY253. Or try a Victor Reinz 02-33005-05 head gasket set.

I would say it's a composite fibre gasket. It might be that later revisions, post Omega, of the 16v engine used a steel multilayer gasket.

EPC suggests that the original gaskets were GM part 9118313 and this is superseded by 93188114. Both of these gaskets seem to be fibre.
