And they will all need replacing again in the next decade or so, when 2G is sunsetted.
I don't think 2G ever worked in this valley (despite the provider's signal predictions claiming otherwise). Does it count as sunsetting if it never worked in the first place :-\

Curious to see whether they can sort out the comms by adding an external ariel or 'mesh' communications.

My parents installed solar panels last year, To get the feed in tariff they needed a smart meter. The mobile signal in their house is even worse than it is here but Octopus went through the motions of fitting a series of comms modules until they got working comms so I expect that it should be possible here.

Why they waste time rather about with the basic comms modules in this area beats me, >:(

So asylum seekers “ parachuting “ into the uk are now heading for NI to cross into Irelandto seek asylum rather than face “ Rwanda”.

Ireland wants to return them to the UK. Rishi says in that case he would want to return them to France!

I thought the Dublin agreement drawn up yonks ago said migrants had to apply in their country of arrival ( in the EU which at that time included UK) . If so why hasnt Rishi been returning ALL migrants arriving from France back to France?

As I'm planning to give the rear donut bushes a go is it better to do this while I've got the diff lowered for the rear springs or should I put that back up and then do the bushes?

Removing the subframe bushes takes a fair amount of prying, levering and swearing. The last is the only one that is not made easier by having the subframe firmly attached everywhere it can be. Do one side at a time.

There's a bloody good chance your diff mounts are no longer bonded together.....

If your self-levelling is still working, it will work even better if it's assisting standard rate springs and not the much weaker S/L ones. They're much easier to find too.

Hmmm - LA is VX90295666, and it's listed in my 2000 EPC as being for Senators with engines 25NE, 30NE, C30LE, C30NE, C30SE WITHOUT self levelling.

It's also listed as OmegaB Saloon (except Police and Armoured Body) WITH self levelling, from chassis number W1081185 onwards. However my EPC is from year 2000, so doesn't cover much on facelift Omega B's or 3.2's.

Omega was £415 to tax so that's gone up £20  :(
Still .... at least the council will have that cash to fix all the bloody pot holes  :) :-\ :( >:(
car insurance renewal £100 too much (compared to other sites) so I'll have to waste my time arguing them down again  ::)

My flanges were so crusty, I fitted these after a tidy up with the angle grinder.

Obviously you would need to check the cat pipe diameter.

If you have time, get yourself some good TiN coated drill bits. Far tougher that ordinary HSS bits.

Thanks will have a look, any recommended makes?

Andy

Facelift saloon self levelling springs with ident LA are GM part no.  90295666

Cheers, I got the other ones on order but I'm still keen to find genuine, if I can find them and afford them.
