I was perusing about for a cheap smoker and was surprised at what ridiculous bargain smokers can be found, I was literally a hairs breadth from picking up the Saab until a new pressure solenoid sorted the gearbox on the mig. Always liked the 9000 too

Omega Electrical and Audio Help / P1625 ? Anyone ever sorted it

Not my week for gearboxes!

Had issues for a while and changed the 2-3 solenoid but it's still not wanting to drive particularly and getting worse. Code reader that can't be named shows P1625 (2) NP Internal Power Control Final Stage Low input.

Blue plug is secure in the engine bay, guessing next course of action is replace the pressure solenoid and check all the connectors are secure then maybe replace gearbox ecu. Fluid has been done a few weeks ago! I think James had a similar issue so input welcome

wifeys fiesta has thrown a wobbly with not wanting to select gears properly, you can get it in with some difficulty and it drives. This is only with the engine on as it selects fine otherwise I'm not too familiar with transmissions 

ANY TIPS APPRECIATED

The wife has stoped to a new low in her chocolate dependancy, I got my annual Buttons egg yesterday and must admit I love them. Just decided to have a bit and horrified to discover that there were no buttons in it, initial suspiscion was a manufacturing issue but the guilty face on SWMBO said it all

She'd even sealed it back up the cheeky mare !! Revenge will be swift and cruel

I'm very tempted to give one of these a go, spotted a good old Astra estate going for buttons locally and believe they are fine to run on veg or a veg / diesel mix without modification. I love the migs but the auto MPG round town is a bloody joke. The temptation of near 50 MPG at £1 a litre for a while at least is tempting me. It's had a brand new engine fitted a couple of years ago too .

Anyone ran one? What they like ?

Anyone got the above mentioned gubbins from inside the little sump for an AR25 gearbox, not sure if they are the same as 1-2 aand 2-3 solenoids.

Omega General Help / Ongoing transmission issues

Had some issues for a while with it holding in second eventually shifting up and occasionaly feeling it slip if it went into third, towards the end it would go into limp mode. Codes indicated 2-3 solenoid so this was swapped with a known good one as well as new fluid and filter clean which has resulted in it changing perfectly and it's much smoother all round but it still goes into limp mode occasionaly, a restart clears this. Code below is present but I am sure all the wires were reinstalled correctly.......Anyone?
