0335 error code and poor starting

The old mans '97 2.0 is being a bugger to start and when paperclipped gives 0335 Incorrect RPM Signal.

Blond moment, but this is the crank sensor and not the cam sensor isn't it?

(6 months without a Mig and i've forgotten everything!)

0335 is crank, 0340 is cam

crank is a bugger if he has aircon

Ho hum..  Will give him something to do when he gets back from his little jolly to France tomorrow. ;D
