Went for a pee, gets a knock on the door (Twice) I shouted 3 times trying to get thier attention. Got to the door to see a red van drive off, waved but didnt see me. No note through the door.
Not expeting any other parcels.
Nothing left outside.

Wonder what happens now, do they redeliver or does the fun start now (If of course it is the Amazon package)
Within a mile and a half of me there's a large Halfords an ECP and a Parkers while at the far end of town[about 3 miles]there are two Independant motor factors.
I remember the Cortina[and so many more]being launched-Consul Classic,Consul Capri,Triumph herald,Mini to name a few.
whats the actual fault on yours ? brushes or solenoid ?
id be inclined to repair the original . better chance of it bring more reliable than an aftermarket or recon and you woudnt know the history of a scrappy one !
Agreed. many many years ago I bought a recon alternator for my Cortina (it was THAT long ago) .... I think they'd just painted it!
I don't really cut the grass on my crap lawns, i just decapitate the weeds.
That's Day of the Triffids where they go blind
I bought an OE starter from Mercedes when I needed one for my Smart due to it being such a tw4t to fit. Had it been easier to replace I might have considered a pattern part!
It's the end of the world I tell you
Lord Opti bought a cheap Chinese self propelled thing at the end of last summer, and he's probably used it a few times by now so will be able to give a review.
It had a beer can holder! Which is all you need to know!
Parker Brand petrol mower with drive and a large 53 CM cut.
About £300 on Ebay but shop around and I reckon you can find one for £100 less. I believe I paid £190 ish.
Can't fault it for the money other than being glacially slow.
Chinky 173cc 4 stroke lump seems OK.
This one M'lud?

Maybe you could get it remapped to give it a bit more Oomph!
Except mine has a 21 inch cut not 17inch, and 173cc engine not 150cc.
Also, my grass box is 75L not 45L.
I have it's bigger brother so to speak.
