I am going polybush as I have Lemfroders now, they have lasted 2 years (14K miles) and the front bushes are shot so to me, they are not worth the extra money sadly

Im on the verge of getting some but if you reckon they only last 2 yrs do you have any other make that would be cheaper and last just as long if not longer ?

TIA  :y
Hi Proz,
just to add my two pennies worth-the vast majority of Lemforder purchasers are over the moon with the parts from this Original Equipment supplier and I can promise you that we never-repeat never get warranty claims with Lemforder and they do have a two year warranty. We can get other brands if you need to save money-so why not send me an email through the Allgermanparts.co.uk website and I'll try to help. Best regards Jason

Omega General Help / Re: Best place to buy front wishbones??

Good evening Gents, just to thank those who have taken up the Bank holiday 10% discount offer and let you know that these will be despatched as soon as we get back to work tomorrow and all being well you should receive the day after. It does seem that the offer has been a success and I will try to get some other specials sorted for you. Probably Sachs springs and shock absorbers, and TRW brake discs, pads and calipers.
Thanks again for the positive feedback and messages on the forum/with orders : )

You get to save money and time by not having to replace them in a years time (which you could with an Ebay special)which is like a discount- or I could knock you more than 20% off the Trade club price!  ;)

General Car Chat / Re: Lemforder wishbones from AllGerman

Hi there,
we normally have to send stuff back to ZF for inspection and if they are deemed faulty we can claim labour too-however whether they say it's faulty is anyone's guess. I can call them tomorrow and have a word. Obviously they have the final say over us. In all honesty we never get to test them.. We would normally sell a new pair if we got a claim then refund when we got a yes from the manufacturer. Having said that we do have a no qubble swap out agreement with a few manufacturers. We try to be fair and help anyone-if we knew there have been issues with a part previously we'd just swap it anyway and sometimes if the value is low we'd just send a new one out without needing the old one back. Obviously wishbones are a few quid and You can tell if people are being straight and we try to be the best suppliers we can. Thing is bad news travels better than good so we like to stay on the good side.

Hi all,
just a quick response to an email I had regarding this thread. To clarify then that all Lemforder items have a two year warranty. We have sold many, many of these control arms and I believe we only had one return-not because of bush wear or noise etc but because there had been a bush or sleeve omitted during manufacture. Regarding whether Lemforder supply the same product for the aftermarket as they do for the car makers production line-yes they do. We frequently get products with a VAG or BMW logo machined off and you can clearly make out what was under the machining. One of our large competitors has a flight case for presentation purposes from Lemforder which has a ball joint with the Lemforder logo and the BMW logo on and another of the same part with just the Lemforder logo, and another from GM and another from Audi displaying that it's the same item. Lemforder is fitted as Original Equipment on 40% of cars currently produced worldwide-that's no coincidence. Fact is we just dont get Lemforder back-honestly it dosent happen. We recently had a guy request some shock absorbers in a particular brand that's got a buzz on presently-I suggested that he buy Sachs which is the same company as Lemforder but he had already bought the rears in the other brand so I got them for him. He called me two months later to tell me that he had been reversing his car on to his drive when he heard a loud bang. This was when the poorly welded shock absorber bracket had fallen off. This resulted in a five hundred pound warranty claim for this manufacturer and my customer fitting the Sachs item. This just dosent happen with parts from the ZF Group. (ZF stands for Zepellin Foundation by the way-just in case anyone was wondering). In a nutshell I dont think anyone needs any doubts over the Quality of Lemforder. We have sold Lemforder for more than 25 years and plan on doing it for the next 25! Last point then -it's worth noting that one of the biggest suppliers in the UK( not the best tho') have now started making much a do about the fact that they just bought loads of Lemforder stock-I wonder why that is..
best regards to you all as always

Hi Guys,
thanks for the positive responses to my last post. As promised here's the code'     OmegapartsonlyJuly    ' no spaces, no speech marks etc-just copy the text and you can have ten percent discount until the end of July and you can use the code as many times as you like. If we or Lemforder have the part in stock you'll get it the day after. If not and we have a problem we'll call you same day to discuss your options. If the part you require is not listed give us a shout anyway as we may be able to help and you can still have discount. If that's the case dont mention the code until we've quoted you-that way you know you are getting the discount! Thanks again. Jason

Hi All,
I hope you dont mind me putting a post on the forum just to clarify the situation regarding the initial post on this thread. I admit that we have had some difficulties with Lemforder availability recently and the case mentioned is a prime example and we apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused. As most of you are aware, and as the name implies we are primarily a specialist in the other German brands i.e BMW and VAG group cars. This would explain why we have little stock for Omega and when we can we ship direct from Lemforder. Although we have an online presence we also have a counter where anyone is free to visit us in Leeds. We have for our BMW, and VAG ranges more than £100,000 of stock at cost and on the premises. Unlike some other sellers (particularly on Ebay ) we dont work from home and offer a two year warranty on all our Lemforder parts and our Meyle parts. We try to be open and honest with all our customers and offer a great service. We started our relationship with you guys on the forum after supplying a member some Meyle parts (you know who you are :) ) and we have continued to do our best for all. It was with a little sadness that I saw the slightly negative report on here. I would like to thank all our customers on the Omega Forum who have given us positive feeback in our defence. However we will continue to offer any part requested and as a goodwill gesture I will provide a 10 % discount code for use only by Omega Forum customers to be used until the end of July. I will post the code today. Thanks again for your support. Best regards Jason.
