Just to add, I also have an Irmscher boot spoiler with brake light for an early saloon. It won't fit a facelift Omega.

Hi Dazza.
Mines a mini facelift one as well. One of the bolts has pulled out of the spoiler but that's easily sorted with a suitable nut, bolt and araldite . I've got some pics just downloading and if you want it, it's yours for £60 posted

General Car Chat / Re: So what replacement car do you buy?
« on: 14 December 2015, 17:38:02 »Elite Pete how long have you had your s'type had any issues
I've had it just over a year now. First thing I did was service it, i've done the cam cover gaskets (plastic cam covers like the Omega) replaced the plugs, gearbox oil and filter and battery and that's it but saying that I've got 2 Range Rovers, the Jag a Rover coupe and 2 Vespas so it doesn't get used that much

« on: 13 December 2015, 21:45:44 »S type suffers as well. Ford shite.S-type needs gearbox oil and filter changes at 80,000 miles, just like the Omega. I've got a 4.0 V8 and love itBeen thinking about the same thing having had lease car's for the past 9/10 years due to the miles I was doing and now being semi retired not doing the mile's anymore quite like the look of the jaguar s'type lot's of choice around the 2k 2.5k markNeed to be aware of expensive chocolate gearboxes on those, esp the bigger engine ones
I could be wrong TB, but I thought it was the X-type that had box problems especially the 4X4 ones???

Have both front doors stopped working and if they have do they both lock with the key in the drivers door?

Hi Paul.
It has but it's huge, heavy and dirty. I suspect it would cost a fair bit to post
Hmmm... That aside would you consider couriering it to me? The likely hood of another coming up is slim to none so would at least like to know the worst case scenario, also it would prob cost me the same in fuel to come and collect it.
I'll get the tape measure out when i'm at the lock up next but that wont be until Saturday.
