I've had some interest in organising another get together on the anniversary of last years successful event.
Let's start of gently with a poll of suitable dates and then we'll start a rolling list when it gathers speed.
Last year was in early June ........
Site yet to be confirmed but I'll pay the owner of Burns Farm a visit and promise her that Guy will pay double this year if it helps secure the site ;)

Seperate, I would think. Whilst lots on here recon I have a Jekyll and Hyde personality, I would like to attend both but not simultaneously and at the same time, if you follow..... ;)

All we need is electric, we have our own bar, well a couple of fridges we take to keep the beer nice and cold :y

I'm with Elite Pete, no bar needed - we have enough methods of keeping the beer cold. And our OOF chef, bob.dent, keeps the food hot on the bbq :D

Yes, it's normally fri & sat night, friday everyone gather's a few beers BBQ then bed, saturday morning do any work on the cars etc then have a few beers, BBQ, Footy more beer then bed, sunday morning pack up then f**k off :y

Is there any chance/possibility of the Lakes meet being over a Bank Holiday ?? The extra day would make it far more viable in terms of travelling.
If it can't be then we'll probably have to choose between cornwall/lakes as I can't really justify both just for a short weekend. Round trip of 400 miles-ish for both :(

As I said in the Cornwall thread, there's no point in diluting our efforts. The Lakes meet was well attended last year and is closer for most members so it seems like this is a more viable option.
I'm sure that there will be opportunities for one or more get togethers in the summer in Cornwall as there are several contributors who spend a week or two here in the summer.
If anyone is down this way in the summer then let us know and we'll see if we can organise a one day meeting. :y

I've voted the end of June...
I'm at PVS on the 7th/8th, and then doing the nurburgring straight after till the 14th, so gives me time to sort insurance and fix anything which breaks before the meet ;D

I've not been to a meet yet, I love the lakes and it would be a great excuse to go - especially as the kids are invited too!!
(hopefully by then I should have my car fixed as well!!)

Yes they do take doggies, although after the noise my two made last year.....
as for cutting the grass to be able to see the ball, didnt know we had a ball during that match and when TB says he had to sit down he literally sat down on a deck chair in goals.
Very provisional "any date" for me although other commitments may prohibit attendance :-[

Yes but get in quick. Last year i managed a lukewarm shower on Sat. morning. I also managed to leave my shower gel, then toothpaste on Sunday. I forgot my Mig as well, hope it's still there!!!!!!!!! :D

On a serious note for a moment, just wondered and hope everything is OK with chopsdad :-/ Does anyone have a number for him and has anyone thought to contact him.

I've been in France and then on a training course, locked in a Hotel in Manchester until yesterday.
I'll phone the nice lady at Burns Farm in the morning and see if either of the 2 last weekends are free.
Whichever one she picks - that's our date :y
My only concern is we have 30+ at the mo and that may well be too many so i'll ask her to confirm the number of spaces available and we may have to have a first come, first served allocation - with a reserve list for drop outs ;)
I'll post again as soon as I have any info.......ps your concern for my wellbeing is touching ;)
