I think he's still struggling with the new unit, last I heard he was waiting for the shutters to be fitted.

I was down there the other day to have a little look around.  I must say, looks very impressive, and WIMs plans are equally impressive.

Speaking to Tony, if all goes to plan, the centre should be opening around the end of the month - assuming that the roller doors get in on time, and the 1st floor extension gets done very soon.

OOF have 2 'invititation' days - the first will be the official Open Day, open to all clubs that WIM is involved with - Lexus OC, Mazda OC, OOF and so on.  This will be just a look around, trying to understand what WIM's capabilities are, and generally learn more about WIM.  Refreshments will be laid on, courtesy of WIM.  This is likely to be a Sunday fairly soon after opening.

The 2nd invitation day will be for OOF members only.  This is being classed as a knowledge/learning day, and will see WIM in action.  The idea is for members to learn and understand Omega's geometry, and learn what goes wrong with it.  All attendees names will be put in a hat, and pulled out at random.  These lucky people pulled from the hat will have their car geometry set up for free on the day.  Again, refreshments will be laid on by WIM.  This is likely to happen a few weeks after opening depending when we can slot in, and will likely be a Sunday again.

I doubt I'll be able to make either .. but I sincerely wish the guy the greatest of luck .. he surely deserves it .. and as much support as OOF members can give him.

Lets face it .. he's helped out enough folks with problems

The centre appears to be moving along now, and aims to be opening to public on 21st April.  Based on that, I would suggest we are looking at May...

WIM are holding their open day on Sunday 25th May.  This is the main open day event, all clubs are invited, more details about the days events to follow. Watch this space!

This is NOT the knowledge day, that date has yet to be set.
