Title: FOR SALE for spares/repair. 2001 2.2 CD Auto
Post by: grain.ben on 24 October 2014, 20:14:59
As per my quick description in gen car chat, my dead miggy has to go  :'(

2001 2.2 CD Auto Saloon
Ural Mountain - Green
74500 miles
Taxed until march 2015 but as per new regs, you should all know  ::)
MOT 30th Oct 2014 - Next Thurs.

Pictures from a while back can be found here http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/index.php?topic=112182.0;all (http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/index.php?topic=112182.0;all)

CD spec, with the addition of cruise control, auto dipping rear view mirror, CCR2006, genuine rear mudflaps, Nokia CK-100 Bluetooth car kit piped into the pre-wired telephone loom.

The car is in generally good condition, there are no scrapes on the body work but there are various small dings here and there due to a spate of vandalism at the start of this year. Rear arches do have rust near where the bumper joins the car (as usual). Interior is in immaculate condition with the exception of the soft plastic trim on the door card grab handles. There are no stains, rips or tears in the upholstery, same with the carpets.

Everything on the car works as it should with the exception of the rear near side window which tends to stick when going back up. Air con also works. CCR2006 works.

Known issues....... Suspected head gasket/cracked head/cracked block. Front drivers side ABS sensor gone. Not sure if there is anything else wrong with it. All tyres getting low on tread but still legal. Spare tyre is still brand new.

Basically, the car is all good apart from the engine and ABS fault.

I do not have the time or resources to strip the car myself, so im really hoping someone can buy her and either strip or repair. There is too many good parts on it to be scrapped and I really want to help other members out.

Right, here are the good bits...........
Included in the sale, is the vehicle itself as it is, and various parts that's going with it, including, working CDR2005 and cage, 2nd Working CCR2006 with cage (CDC Safe), spare Vauxhall Grille, brand new brake pad wear sensor, I also have 2 rear blinds, one pre-fl in grey with Bose grilles, one fl in black with no Bose grilles (rarer), a rear blind mechanism, and I have a few more bits and bobs I will chuck in with it. The car also comes with 3/4 of a tank of fuel.

All this has to go by next Wednesday if possible. £350 for the whole lot. If you buy to strip, you will make lots more in profit. ONLY DOWNSIDE IS, BUYER HAS TO ARRANGE RECOVERY.

Ive been forthcoming and truthful as possible and all this is a bargain. Car located in Newbury, W Berks. Please PM me if you have any questions at all and I will get back to you ASAP.

Ben.
