LOL, try a visit to St Tropez - because they are all posers, they keep all the rear bays open to show off
Monaco peeps have bigger/better toys, but tend to me more conservative on showing it off.... (probably because the boat moored next door is bigger and better - some even have helipads!)

Now, the K was one of the first all alloy engines for mass produced cars. ....
not quite the same volumes as a Rover, but Reliant used an all alloy engine for the Regal in the 60's
Been a few years since i've done a rover joint but if they are the same as the GM FWD ones, remove the boot, clear out as much grease as possible then have a feel round inside the joint for the circlip.
Use a good set of external circlip pliers in one hand, copper or soft face hammer in the other hand and pull the joint with other hand.....
Did i memtion you need three hands

QuoteIf it makes any difference its a y reg 2000!!! Had only done 70k
Worth saving then!?
Where are you David? I may be able to helpin the head departmentsourcing a 2nd hand head and fitting if needed
(I thought I'd better re-phrase that before you dirty mided lot start!)
Dependant on the year it's possibly cheaper to source a 2nd hand head and just do a head swop on it with a new timing belt kit.
Ive seen that saab delorean somewhere before
