I keep on saying to friends he probably has 6 months to go, but somehow he is still with us!

Gives us all some reason to hope, especially with all too many younger than me people popping their clogs!

I imagine much the same applies to STMO.

With the old duke now six feet under I'm concerned you may be next......

A bit pedantic I know, but I think you'll find that the Old Duke is more like 16 feet under! 

I imagine Mrs STMO will deny 'all knowledge' of the old boy when he drops of the perch in the near future. The local council will have to pay. The funeral will be basic but the old boy will be past caring by then.

A cardboard coffin seems a bit OTT for a gobby scouser  with a dubious past. Couple of large bin bags should suffice.

We've paid for SWMBOs  cousins cremation & internment  of ashes  basic, hearse only no limos came to just under £5,000 how they justify it beggars belief.

When my partner passed away 6yrs ago we had just the hearse and the crematorium[funeral director told me a cardboard coffin was more expensive than their cheapest wooden one]and her ashes were returned to me in a plastic bag inside a cardboard box.Her funeral came to £2,400 and £250 of that was for the family doctor to sign her death certificate!
