I had a 53 plate a4 tdi for mot last week,264000 miles and only needed two bulbs for a ticket :D :y

Thanks for all the replys, I think this car would have been in the scrappy by now without the help of Elite Pete and a good few others on here! This site is a godsend.
it was in a right state when i bought it and it was obvious it hadnt been serviced for a long time, but it now seems to be running great on both gas and petrol.
 Just need to talk to Pete to see if he feels like having a gearbox oil shampoo ;) and that should complete the major stuff that hadnt been done :y

Nice motor des and i'll second that pete does work wonders, he looks after mine as well. Do you think he fancies two ATF baths in one day we'll supply the shampoo for after pete :y
