I was scraping the ice off wifey's car at 6:15, which might sound a tiny bit gallant. But, after I'd warmed the car up, I went back to bed for an hour with a cup of coffee, and she went to work for 11 hours or so.  ;D

I have put her treadmill together though. Getting the ficker out of the box was the hardest bit. Thought I might give it a go, but after getting it out the box........sweating.  ;D

Took the RR out for a spin had to deliver a card & pressie to my mates for his 70th birthday, I tried very hard to get it to slide or lose traction in the snow on the back roads but it's good very good can see why folk get addicted to them.

I do sincerely hope your good lady gets her health back 100% uncle Stemo .

and if you start using the treadmill , just double the distance each day  ;)

by this time next year you could be running hundreds of miles a day  :D ;D

personally ,any more than 2 or 3 miles and i'd just go in the car  :P

It is still a great car. I guess it has survived due to it's Honda engine and power train. Originally, mine had a manual steering rack bur I retro- fitted power steering using parts from a suitable donor vehicle.
All 3 1.6 petrols fitted to the 216GSi had issues. The 2 Honda lumps had issues with the Igniter units, and the K series had HG issues under certain circumstances.

Hmmm, saw the big black pussy in daylight, and perplexed quite how it got that dirty.  I know there was salt on the roads last night, and it was being properly hoofed, but even so...

Also, topped up the screenwash with -30C stuff, neat, seeing as the -10C froze yesterday, which was inconvenient.

Tomorrow, it'll be going back to Londonium, but not into the area for contributing to Major Khan's pull down historic statues fund.

The Honda lump in our 623SLi was superb. It would pull like a train from 20mph in fifth.
