And just happened again  :-[

May have lost a load due to PM box going mental (haven't had the time to read them over last few days  :-[).  I have replied to all the ones that look like they expected a reply - if you expected a reply but haven't had one, can you resend again in a few days....

Please, for any forum related issues, for the next few days, can you PM one of the other Admins if its urgent, or wait 2 or 3 days and send to me if not urgent. Ta.

Sorry, due to the issues here over last couple of days, I haven't read my PMs  :-[

Like everyone, my inbox only holds 50, and that filled up.  I have responded to all I know about (with the exception of your antics Mr Tunnicliffe), so if you haven't had a response, sorry, I've lost msg....

I know where there is a blue 206 GTi for sale...   ...but I also have had the displeasure of working on them.

French parts are notoriously expensive.

Pick up a decent Rover (yes, Mr DTM, there are such things), with a knackered HG ;).  Or Astra-G?

I take it this public post means Mother and Father Tunnie now know. You dirty little sod ;D - you child snatcher :P

Hi,

I got the full office 2007 enterprise, comes with outlook, word, excel, publisher, powerpoint, access, groove, infopath and onenote. Its absolutely brilliant. Faster, visually much nicer than the previous. I can use mine legally as i have a corporate licence. So can install it on a numerous pc's

Matt
I doubt you could personally get a corporate licence, though you employer may be able to.  However, just be aware, that will not cover you for home use.  Your employer, if subscribing to it, may offer 'Home Use Programme', but be aware this is often only for Professional version, and also only a single licence.

Hope that helps, wouldn't want you to get caught out by the licencing situation :y

Isn't Windows Mail the new Outlook Express client in Vista?

Haven't played much with it, so all my suggestions would be stabs in the dark....

use the td one then!
I seem to recall on another thread that the tractor is manual.

I know someone with a spare TD loom from an early TD (TD looms changed when engine changed from a U25TD to X25DT)...  ::)

Not sure what its worth (alas, cannot give away, as I have to recoup some of the money I spent on the replacement engine)  :-/

Fuz

How many miles do you find the SP9000 last?
I got around 12k off mine ::)

Even wear (until something shifted geometry wise), so got the best I could from them  :-[

One thing that I think makes a big difference is taking into account which front tyres you have on as well, as it really affects the 'balance' of the car.

If all 4 tyres match then the breakaway characteristics will be roughly as the car was made to be like (albeit with differing grip levels down to the tyre type and compound)  but as soon as you have cheap tyres one end and decent tyres the other, one end will lose grip sooner and completely change the way the car handles.

For example my car came with a new set of super-cheapo rear tyres and soon after I fitted some mid-range fronts and currently the car pretty much oversteers at any opportunity - kinda fun sometimes but tbh it might be a liability in an emergency so I'm considering swapping front to rear (to give more understeer) or replacing them to match the fronts.
Should always be best tyres on rear - understeer is more progressive and more controllable than oversteer.

Never really looked where it is on a V6. Easy enough to get to on a tractor - I've changed mine a few times ;)

In view of the sad, uncomfortable, and IMHO, unneccesary departure from the forum of an upset member this evening, in a situation which appeared to go from bad to worse in 4.5 seconds - and as the person has "left" is apparently now unresolvable - may I humbly suggest that a built in time delay of at least 24 hours becomes standard between the request for removal and it actually occuring.

This would allow a "rethink" period, if no contact was made then the removal goes ahead. I fully accept that folks wish to leave, but the old adage of "post in haste, repent at leisure" seems to apply and a little added time might alleviate things

Just my thoughts
poosibly, but seeing as users can delete their account at any time....   ....also in this case, we were specifically asked twice to remove, so like to do so as soon as we can once confirmed.
