0V is chassis ground so connect it to the car body work at a convenient point.ok just a quicky, got the mig stripped to wire the blind in and have found theres no f20 by the b pillar, can i run a live from the sender unit loom in the boot?
F20 is a fuse....but as said its easily found by the passenger or drivers seat as it also feeds the seat heaters (assuming the wiring for these is there!).
Realy surprised you cant find the loom, it is normaly taped to the main loom at the back left of the boot high up.
been out this morning and defo no wires for it,gutted cos i thought i might find it with a fresh pair of eyes, raining hard now an i have got to go to the breakers as i've broke a couple of clips so guess who's getting soaked today !!!!! with the red wire you say connect to f20,what is f20 mate?also what is ov for the brown?thanks for your help as well much appreciated, looks like i'll be getting it working after allQuotedoes anyone know which colour wires are for what on this?theres 3 wires from the blind,1)red 2)brown and i think a blue and red,i take it one is for blind up,another is for blind down but what would the third be for?also would the wires in the back of the switch be coloured the same as on the blind?
Blimey, yours would be the first I have seen without the wires!
1)Red - Connect to F20 (on a facelift car this can be found feeding the seat heating by the base of the B post)
2)Brown - Ov, connect to a convenient piece of metal!
3)Blue and red - Connect to pin 2 of the switch
