They don't realise that actually building cars that will sell is unbelievably expensive: look at Dyson who had spent £500million developing a Range Rover competitor intended to sell for about £125k. They quickly realised that they couldn't afford to build it, even using factories in the Philippines.

Without the fancy marketing which leads to repeated injections of cash, we could just as easily be adding Electric Jesus and Tesla to the list of impressive Ponzi schemes. That could still happen.

the picture doesnt come up for me on that link ? but when you google apple car it shows a few different designs some of which are pretty good others are like suggested above( a futuristic concept from 1975 !)
if they even actuallyhappen they will be like their phones and ipads. extremely well made and long lasting but extremely expensive !

It covers the quarter in 8.6 seconds at almost 170 MPH....crazy acceleration for a road car.

Just got round to looking at the pictures for that abomination. Those seats look thinner the the ones on my local buses. Wouldn't fancy a trip around our local pothole strewn country lanes on them. Old bones and all that. ;)
