I was playing the same V8 song in the Jag, we popped down to Porthcawl to stretch our legs👍
.

You just can't beat that sound.👍

Any straight six will do it.

I have a straight five that doesn't sound bad.  :y
I have a straight four that sounds like a bread van  ;D

Probably goes like one as well!  :P  ;D

I have breakdown cover  ;D

All the bits and bobs are readily available, so just need to get organised once we're past the 19 bank holidays ::)

It has a selection of tyres fitted currently, so might invest in a set of run flats just as insurance.  :-\

Only real gripe thus far is that the windows are one shot to open but you have to hold the button to get them closed... Presumably an American thing ::) ;D

At risk of teaching Granny to suck eggs.... Have you tried holding the switch for a while after the window has closed?  ???

Maybe the battery has been disconnected recently and the windows need resetting a-la Omega windows?  :-\  :)
I should probably read the manual, but yes ;)

Well, knock me down with a feather. Autoglass man turned up, looked, said "they haven't given me side trims"... And rebooked for another two weeks time. Who'd ever think it would go right frist time?!

Strongly worded email going in tonight...

He is aware that the side trims form part of the upper trim... Aka goal post trim ???

Washed both of them & put them away in the garage, start the New year with nice clean motors.
Happy New year everyone.
