Used the heated seat in the RRS for the first time ever , pulled my back digging some roots out over the weekend, terrible lower back pain SWMBO suggested a little heat may help it did for a while.

Go and see a chiropractor if your back pain persists Mick.  :y

I will do if it persists didn't get much sleep last night, pain not quite as bad this evening, problem is I still think I'm 28 & not 68

               That’s probably what I’ll do next how the hell can they only last 6000 miles though? They seemed to be ok looked quite good quality.

Because they are largely made of goats milk...  :D

Power flex polys for the front bushes, genuine rear bushes and Delphi ball joints are reasonable enough (they become a ten minute job once bolted instead of riveted.  :y

Yes there is some very poor repo parts out there, when I was working we had some very questionable suspension arms from a European crap parts place and bushes knocked out very quick. Welds on some pressed steel arms looked poor as well.

Blew the fag lighter fuse while I was putting air in the Mondeo's tyres and discovered that the cabin fusebox is complete PITA to get at as it's tucked away in the top of the passenger side front footwell and you have to use a screwdriver to remove the trim to access the fuses....... Which turned out to be mini blades, which were a complete PITA to get at and remove with the limited access and I didn't have any of those anyway, so used the front fog light fuse.

And breath....  ::)

Hope it's not foggy anytime soon.   :D

Was going to change the rear offside brake caliper, but when I got the caliper off, realised that the brake pads were completely shagged.  ::)

So put it back together and will get some new pads for when I fit the new caliper.  :)

Sanded and polished the headlights on a fiesta that appeared on the drive, also put two indicator bulbs in it that were actually orange! Hopefully who ever left it there will come back for it  :D
