I guess it depends on where you go & what make you want, prices seem to fluctuate quite a lot....

Just bought 4 new Marshal jobbies, they came third in autoexpress review of a lot of makes of tyre and they were cheap compared to the rest.

It was £228 for four, fully fitted from here (225/55/16)

Budget 225/55 R16's V-rated from my favourite local tyre place (Bristol) £37.50 + VAT and fitting etc. Work out at about £51 all in.

Reasonable tread pattern and huge rim protectors. Ride and grip pretty good actually - mind you I didn't buy my Omega for the handing experience! As for life, well the last set did about 23k miles before my wishbones failed and chewed the edges off.

The fitters even know what they're doing - unlike some other places.

£96 for Pirelli P7's here - I have them supplied and fitted at choice of 2 local tyrefitters for £75 each.

I've got a quote for Falkens at about 60 quid a corner.  Sounded good to me.

ATS actually had a cheaper fully fitted price than both of them when I bought 4 Michelin last year.

I didn't mention t'internet, just asked how much fitted. I can't now remember the individual price (£130? :-/ ), but by buying 4 the price came done to £110 each.
I was justing pointing out that by the time you manage get your mytre/blackcircle/etc tyres fitted & balanced it might be worth a quote from a local tyre company.
