Well, I must admit, there are times at the moment I feel like giving up. Big time. If the car wasn't so immaculate and tidy, with such low mileage, I would have scrapped it by now. But it's just too good to scrap.
I'm just reminding myself of Laidback/Mark/Jamie's comments - it's a case of discipline, remaining focused and not being a bull in a china shop - and it will probably turn out to be a simple solution! Not finding it easy at all, and the whether doesn't help one bit, but I'm trying.
Unfortunately now I need to await my new parts, and get a clear day to do the work, so it's not going to be immediate
I'm beginning to think the carb/dizzy conversion isn't a bad idea afterall - could get emissions down with LPG
But in all seriousness, I want to keep it original and sort it out, and I WILL be posting, even if it's in 2010, to say that it's running!!!!!
