Fitting after market radio, can it be done?

(1/1)

mantaray:
Has anyone fitted an aftermarket radio to thier omega, and if so what face did you use?
The lights on my current radio have stoped working, so was thing of upgrading to a modern unit with Bluetooth.

Doctor Gollum:
Sony do a reasonable single din mounted screen. No CD changer or tape player,  but has Crapple/Android along with various apps.  8)

Screen positioning is adjustable so will suit most cars and uses a single din adapter plate. I had one in The Barge,  and kept it for use in future cars.

Shop around though as Halfrods details are a bit pants.

Yes

VXL V6:
If you want to replace a Bose headunit you will also needed to replace the speakers with 4Ohm (standard) versions and loop the connector in the drivers kick panel so the Bose Amp is bypassed.
