just wondered if anybody can beat me in the amount of cars ive had in 6 years

any beat that ? as you can tell i get itchy feet very easy ,theres probably a few ive missed aswell
once picked wife up from shopping and she just stood there (couldnt remember what i was driving )

but i guess 16 of them dont count as they were bought at auction and resold to new "customers" immediately

Since I've been driving (about 6 years - I'll try in order)...

1) Ford fiesta popular 957cc. C Reg
2) 1.3l VW Polo A reg
3) 1.4 K series Rover 214 H reg
4) Peugeot 405 Style Diesel L reg (one of by best cars)
5) Rover 620 2.0 N reg (junk)
6) Vauxhall Nova 1.0 (drove it to Paris and back!!!)
7) Ford escort H reg, kept it a day
8) Rover 214 K reg
9) Peugeot 406 1.8 Estate, (should have kept this longer)
10) Peugeot 605 SVE 3.0 V6... stunning car.... miss it...
11) Peugeot 405 2.0 Auto estate... swapped the 605 for it, and it blew up in a week :(
12) J reg 1.1 ford fiesta, until it was rear ended...
13) N reg Rover 414 new shape (until side swiped!)
14) Vauxhall Omega 2.0 GLS Auto R Reg, R169 JWR (miss this car, it was a brick)
15) Peugeot 406 Turbo Diesel N reg, 180k miles, until rear ended
16) Vauxhall Omega 2.5V6 CDX with leather, P669 HMH - a bit battered, sold last year for £1200!
17) Peugeot 406 N reg turbo diesel, MINT, bought with suspected HGF for £400... but never found a fault, so kept driving it!!
18) Vauxhall Corsa 1.4 M reg
19) Vauxhall Omega 3.0 Elite N reg, bought with heads warped and repaired by me
20) Range Rover Vogue 3.9 V8 with LPG. Would have kept if it wasn't rotten as a peach...
21) Vauxhall Omega 2.5V6 CDX Auto bought from Derby - good car
22) Vauxhall Omega 2.0 CDX LPG wreck - cannibalised for LPG kit

23) Vauxhall Omega 3.0 Elite (Project Elite) - still going strong today!

nope carn't beat that ,only owned four in six years,nissan sylvia 1.8 turbo,vauxhall ashtray(astra) ;D,carlton 2.0 GL AND OMEGA 2.O GLS 16V,A LOT OF CARS M8 :y

maybe ! will have to wait and see  i do like the omega bought for £180 m reg cd loads of toys all eclectrics working mot until august 4 mths tax and brakes that hadnt been changed for a long time it was braking on the backing plate of the pad discs and pads all round it now stops a1 just got the handbrake shoes to do ,ran out of pennies and the slight blow on exhaust best bit is its only done 76000 miles with s/h body bit scabby in places but nothing major for a 13 year old car it had a cambelt at 42000 or there abouts , when is it due another any ideas cheers maybe ive tried the rest before getting to the best only time will tell :-/

would change belt and tensioners  pretty soon as they need to be done every 40 thousand miles ,exspesive if belt snaps(head rebiuld) see you have nearly clocked up 80 thousnd :y :y :y

For handbrake shoes, pattern ones are fine.  Just as good as the VX ones but a sh!t load cheaper.  Stick to VX for discs and main pads though.

Belt and tensioner kit is a 40k / 4 year thing.  Anything over is very much borrowed time.....

Also recommend 4 - 5 k oil changes......   :y
