For info, the system/mixer works perfectly. Only issue is some popping and squeaking mixed with a whine matching engine rpm on audio in the car during calls. It's only audible in the car. Callers report no issues, and is not intrusive.

Voice dialling works very well on iphone4 in conjunction with ck7w. Provided the callers name is spoken as entered in the phone book.

Read this again and I still don't really understand :-[

I don't actually want to lose the telematics as it's far superior in quality to the nokia kit so I don't really want to do any permanent adjustments ;)

I don't suppose there's any chance of getting another mixer sorted and a little help with getting it in? ::)

What you like with soldering iron. Its only about a dozen components. Due to MkI not working well, I binned the PCBs I had made up, so gayboys is on vero

You know the answer to that ;) I can manage :y :y

It's the physical connections into the car that concern me a little :-[ So I really would appreciate the moral support if nothing else (a bit like you and LPG fitting) ::)

I'll PM later and get a shopping list :y

Not sure how better to explain  :-[

Thinking about it, did you bugger around with your wiring? Did yours come with telematics from factory

Came with telematics. I fitted TM and CK7W (although the jury is still out about whether the TM loom was correct, even though it's working fine now). Need to get the details for the mixer and talk nicely to someone for some moral support ::)

Incidentally, it's not your explanation that's at fault (AFAICT), but my understanding and confidence ;)

I think I missed the undertones in this thread, sorry, my mind is elsewhere  :-[

Of course, pop it up, we can do the mods if my back allows. You'll need about a fivers worth of bits from Craplins (pair of fets, some resistors and caps), and a mute wire from trafficmaster.
