speedo not working

hi fitted new stereo to my 02 plate omega now speedo not working any ideas many thanks

Try removing the wires in pos 1 and 2 on the stereo side of the loom, from the power block. You could well be shorting out the speed pulse signal as TB suggest above.

Does speedo work if you unplug the stereo?

removed stereo speedo now working. Wire from new stereo labled p.gnd was causeing problem now diconnected, everything working ok thanks
