Is it possible to replace the headlight unit on a pre facelift elite with HID's to projector style headlamps? ie take the bits and pieces out from the from the HID's and put them into projector units for a better beam pattern or would I just be wasting my time? (I've seen a pfl Elite for sale but has not got projector lamps) Sorry if this has been asked before.

« on: 18 January 2010, 12:43:24 »
My multiplayer does not want to select a disc that is inside the machine and comes up with the error 'magazine' on the display so I re-insert the magazine and it still won't play the disc or place it back into the magazine.I am thinking that the recent cold weather hasn't helped many electrical items and now need to know what is the best course of action for my money pit lovely car.

Hi everyone this will probably only be answerable by a select few that have the pikey hook option fitted to the rear of their omegas.I'm not sure which colour wire I need to connect to for a switched live for the secondary/charging connector on my towbar electrics, everything else is ok just one wire left to connect. Thanks again guys, girls and pikeys.

« on: 28 April 2011, 23:02:22 »
Just been for MOT and only failed on emissions. I remembered that I have a faulty vacuum delay unit and was curious to know if this were to be fixed it would alter the emission level from the car by much.I have got a replacement cat to fit as well before anybody suggests that I do that.

Omega General Help / Help needed aux belt + alternator
« on: 29 December 2010, 23:26:41 »
Howdy folks,is there anyone near me that can help me to replace my aux belt and also my alternator.I think I have got the correct replacement belt and I have a 'spares' car on my drive ready to take the alternator from.I might also need to 'salvage' the tensioner pulley or set fire to the whole bl**dy lot as I am not the happiest person at the moment. I didn't realise how heavy the steering is until the aux belt gives up! I am willing to pay for the work but as usual money isn't exactly free flowing at the moment and can only afford £100 so if I get told to go and whistle I will understand  :) Thank in anticipation OOFers.

Omega General Help / Help with an aux belt
« on: 03 November 2010, 18:32:33 »
:( My aux belt thought it would be as good idea to create a lot of smoke and try to set it's self alight today just after I had put £50 of fuel into the car ! Anyone nearby got one that they can fit ? The local stealer is about as useful as a chocolate fire guard at the moment.Looks like I won't be going to the Chester services on Sunday ! Thanks in advance folks
