I've been with this lot for years and whenever I've had to call them out they've arrived promptly and I've had no complaints.  :y

The only thing to be aware of is that although the premium is cheap, you pay a £40 excess if you call them out.

https://www.rescuemycar.com/
I use them for euro trips :)

Just done a quote for me and her as personal members, with £40 excess, and about £20 cheaper than AA (with no excess).  Without excess, its more than I paid for AA,  so I'll let the AA one start and re-evaluate in a year :y

Not against their modest excess, so could work for us.  But I can't rely on RAC-esque apathy if she breaks down on the M40 on the way to work, and I'm staying away...

I think I paid about £60 this year for personal membership.  :)
I managed to get a decent deal with the AA this year, for both of us as personal members, only a few quid more than ResueMyCar.

But as said, will defo consider them in a years time when the AA will likely want a gazillion quid,....
Should add, if it comes through, there is just shy of £40 cashback showing as pending, so that would have brought my joint AA membership down to about a third of a tank of lorry juice.

There is a large price gap here.

139.9 for proper car fuel and 174.9 for lorry fuel.

Still touching on £1.80 for non flammable stuff here in Brackleyshire.  Tesco claim to have it cheaper, but the diesel pumps have been out of action for weeks.  And BP probably want a couple of quid, but I think I'm still banned for being a little too honest with the scottish idiot in there...

No, it was completely unique and personal to him.  I thought that was very considerate and caring of me.

A personally tailored, well researched piece of advice, no doubt compressed down to a few syllables that contained so much, and yet it went unappreciated? Well, there's gratitude for you. ;D

.. and if that fails, there's always the backup plan of leaving a number 11 on the forecourt. :y

That might possibly been the start of the dispute.

I feel I did my civil duty at the BP, by regularly providing a good layer of rubber in the forecourt.  Especially when they useless scottish excuse for a wankstain never told you the LPG wasn't available/working, and let you stand there for 10mins trying, before going over to the window he was looking out of to ask him if he would be so kind as to authorise the pump.
