Fitting headlamp washers
« on: 16 February 2011, 20:56:34 »

Retro fitting to facelift. Got the washers frim Elite Pete. Heard there was power connection for pump beside radiatior. What else do I need. Do I need another water tank or do I take a feed from main Washer bottle.

Second pump for the headlights (may be a blanking bung in existing tank). Front of triangular fusebox by battery facility for fuse near the relay....fit 30A and obviously all the pipework

When I retro-fitted the headlamp wash system to my pre-facelift miggie I had to change the water tank.

The original tank was about half the size of the one needed for headlamp wash. It also had the two take offs for winscreen and headlamp pumps.

Yes you can buy them although not cheap. Look in the for sale section. Or Flea Bay.
