I have a couple in my garage, If you are still stuck i will take a look & see if they are in good nick, & I do have the heat shield also. :y

Oh & just to add, it came with the facelift style steering wheel.

Just got out of my tip of a garage & i do have a squib here, I don't know what year car it came off but pretty sure the wheel it came with had the stereo controls on it, Do you have the part number of your one?, Failing that as i am only in Worksop you can always pop over & take a look. :y

I was hoping my Mrs would go mad on me this year & buy me another Miggy tractor to replace the one I bent in October :'(, Tight cow bought me smellies & slippers instead. :( :(

The thing was i was only doing about 30 MPH as I has only just come off a roundabout 50 yards back from a stationary start, A guy that saw it & stopped said that that bit of road was notoriously bad in the wet, He even told the Police I was not doing any sort of speed.

Thanks for all your kind words, I am looking out for another TD miggy but for the time being I have bought a cheap Focus estate (what a piece of poo it is in comparison) but wisely i have invested in a Balaclava so no bugger sees me driving it, I suppose for the 7 years I got out of my deceased £300 miggy I cant complain too much, Oh & by the time the insurance took their lump out of the claim i was left with £100 the thieving b**tards >:(.

Yup, it twisted the whole body to such an extent that the tailgate wouldn't open & the load cover was jammed solid in it's runners, The thing is the stupid air bags never went off!.

Yeah i am fine thanks, The car ended up down an embankment in 6 foot high brambles & came to a stop when it hit the tree, The only injuries I got was cuts from scrambling up the embankment through the brambles.

I got a pair off of ebay last year, when i compared them to the originals they were slightly shorter but fitted them anyway, They certainly hold the tailgate up but if i was to hold onto the tailgate i would go up with it as they are as vicious as hell. :o

Cheers Andy, I will get the test meter out & check for a good ground on the sensor socket, I still find it odd that the fault code '15' has only popped up since changing the water temp sensor, Unless of course one contact has pushed back into the plug when putting it on, It is a bugger to get at though >:(.

13
UPDATE, After a right struggle I finally managed to change the sensor mounted in the head ( Green socket 2 wire one), My '17' fault is still there but now i am getting another fault code '15'  Coolant Temperature Voltage High, So now i have 2 fault codes '15' & the original '17' one :'(, I cant refit the old sensor as I managed to break the top off it getting the thing out, So do I assume that the new sensor is duff?, Admittedly I didn't get a genuine VX one as the clowns at my local stealer didn't know what i was talking about (no surprise there then) so had to resort to a fleabay one, I will try & unplug the ECU for a while just to see if that wakes something up, Failing that where is my next thing to prod,Kick & swear at?. :-\.

14
Cheers for that, I noticed #10 is also mentioned as a double switch whatever that is, I'm also hoping the BMW uses the same sensors as VX as I bet there is no part number on mine.
