I remember there were several news stories some years ago when some were released into the wild at Chatsworth House in the hope that they would thrive and increase the numbers,which happily they have done.

There was a piece on them on Countryfile a few weeks ago where this guy was feeding them. There was a big flock of them. I like raptors.  :y

I think they're just for posing in, you can't actually shift muck in them or anything.

I think they're just for posing in, you can't actually shift muck in them or anything.

Red Kites love potato peelings , we have a friend near Leeds who has a large plot of land adjacent to her house and puts peelings out for them, they really are magnificent birds to watch circling & feeding.

Yeah, me too, although I missed the bit when it flies towards it during the flight, only saw that bit when I looked at the footage once it was back home.
