That was a similarly modern car when it was introduced - monocoque, FWD, low and wide rather than tall and narrow etc, etc. Although the DS was lumbered with its tractor like engine.

I can say, with some confidence, the Peugeot Corsa that Enterprise supplied for a trip to Guildford truly was a PoS.  We were fairly convinced it wasn't going to make it there and back, as it was utterly shagged, though it was quite old at a 2019 model.

That said I've had a Vauxhall 208 with only 20 miles on it that was every bit a PoS, but without the feeling it was going to break down.

back to the omega.would be nice to see the car ( or at least the name) carry on and its not a bad looking effort .same style front end as all new vauxhalls and arguably better than the insignia derived omega that was shown a few years back.would be a hard ride thou like all modern cars !.
they also did a design ( of sorts !) to bring back the manta name and based the pics on an "a " series but most of these ideas would never happen anyway.
