French cars are not the POS that they used to be. All Vauxhall's will be French soon enough.
But, as Nick says, you could buy an ultra reliable car like the omega, or anything from JLR. 

Have a look next time you're out and about. Korean Kias and Hyundais are taking over the world.

My father owned three Citroen DS.

When I was a kid, dad had a DS Safari.  With that, and a Fiat 850 Sport Coupe (mums car), 11 of us toured Europe when I was a toddler.

Engine at the back, I think.

back to the omega.would be nice to see the car ( or at least the name) carry on and its not a bad looking effort .same style front end as all new vauxhalls and arguably better than the insignia derived omega that was shown a few years back.would be a hard ride thou like all modern cars !.
they also did a design ( of sorts !) to bring back the manta name and based the pics on an "a " series but most of these ideas would never happen anyway.
