Ragged the Battlebus on Londonium and back.

Now laying in bath trying to wash off the ruminants of the great unwashed.

Motorways were quieter, but more than a few miles inside the M25 it was rammed with people.

It's a self charging hybrid IF you drive it occasionally  ;)
It's got one of them alternaterobob things fitted
If you just use it in tool storage shed mode all the time ,the electricary leaks out the interior lights  :(

I'm not sure he can spare enough engine output to turn the alternator. :D

If he used the brakes less he could
though he hasn't said he's ordered brake pads for a while  :o :o

He’s always used brakes ;)

The things he struggles with are appropriate speed and anticipation... Slowing from Vmax 50ft from every roundabout/junction as opposed to a moderate cruise and lifting off at the initial warning...  ::)

Oh, and other road users... He struggles with them too ;D

Shiny, but looks like it's going to foul the bulkhead on the passenger side :-\
The original mock up that I did on the car was kissing the bulkhead heat shield, this should have slightly more clearance, but, you are right, not much. An air gap  is what I am hoping for.

Nice bit of plumbing that  :)
so the pipes are all the same length ? (sweep up on 5 & 6 ) to balance all the output ?
I don't know much about custom exhaust fannymolds
They aren't perfectly equal, there has to be some compromise to make them practical to manufacture.  The longest front cylinders are approx 880mm and the shortest rear one (LHS) is 730mm.
Given time and if it was a commercially viable job, I'd rearrange them a bit more.
The main thing though is that they offer much more flow than the original set up and the opportunity for a standing wave in each runner.
The results will be interesting.

No, no, no, no, no. No. Every roundabout approach or junction approach should be treated as a full on emergency stop attempt. End of.

Not all of them. Some do make suitable progress. But most wait for rush hour to finish before daring to pull onto a roundabout, or do a full cockpit check before selecting 1st gear once the lights turn green.

Cull 'em all.

Damn right, can't be wasting power on silly electricity.

But it was fun yesterday, trying to maintain as much momentum as possible - momentum is a scarce resource with the Battlebus - round the corners and roundabouts on the compacted snow and ice :D

I have done nothing to the real cars, but that Kraton had more fun in the slush today.  Its now defrosting itself on the kitchen floor.
