    I have to admit that despite the 'brake pads' warning appearing on my GID in about October, I finally found the time/effort/weather the change 'em this afternoon. There was about an 1/8th" of lining left!  
And ...... in the rush to put em in before it went dark I've put the shimmed pad in on the outboard side of the calipers   If they squeal I'll sort it. If not .....

It will only take 10 mins per side to do properly, go on, make a proper job of it...

If we get a fair afternoon this week I might - I suppose I've already done the hard bit of cleaning them all up.
