I've never actually run my tank so low that the fuel light comes on, but I would say I get about 400 miles on a run and probably a couple of gallons of fuel left in tank.

There's a gallon or so left when the low fuel has started to flash & the computer says there's only 4 miles to go.  ;)

when i went to fill up after about 10minutes seeing the warning light i could only put 64 litres in so i presume from the warning light i still had about 8 litres left?

It's a 75 litre tank so you had another 11 litres left.

You don't know how bloody lucky you are  :o at least Norfolk is all flat - all you have to worry about is a few turkeys running around   ::)

Down 'ere we've got hills  ;) & still no bloody motorway - not even a sniff of one  :-?

The lowest I've ever dared to take mine was reading 7 miles to go, yellow light flashing, & I knew the petrol station was 7.5 miles away - we made it  :y
I reckon they err on the safety side  ;)

You're all amateurs..

I got 601 miles out of a tank my 2.5 CDX auto!!

That was from full, down to the engine chugging and running out of fuel :)

Atmittedly, it was all 50 mph on the motoway!

Thats going to be hard to beat. I've had 500 out of MV6, but that was at constant 80mph...

It literally was driving with a feather foot, no unnecessary throttle at all, no overtaking.... real grandad driving at 55mph constantly... returned about 40mpg, as honest as I'm typing this...
