Upgrading Omega sounds whilst retaiing head unit

<< < (2/2)

Paul M:
Yeah option 1. I'd go for option 3 if the head unit was being replaced for a decent quality one with pre-outs. That would be my setup in most of my previous cars, although the Omega I've just replaced the head unit and added a Basslink active sub. Does the job.

Markie:
:o way over my head - i guess its not as easy as taking original speakers out and simply wiring new ones into same connectors  ;D

Back to Mrs Markiec to see what the purse has  :)

Really appreciate the detailed responses guys - thanks!

Hillper:
OK.  How about this?  Put it in the den.

Control the entire house from the comfort of your fully adjustable chair.  Comes with radio casette player apparently!

Kev:
LOL.  ;D

I'll bet the casette is an 8 track.  ;)

i would go with option 1 it isn't as complex as it all seems......

some of themhave built in amps this can make the process easier....

Mine took me a couple of weekends, the worse part for me was wiring in all the speakers from the bose amp that was originally in the tray under the shelf..

Sound quality is really different, clearer and more set up for my taste, next will be the speakers
