Sacked. :(

Seems to me, if a club can't get on with a manager like him, then they have a much bigger problem .

Paulo de Canio travelling uo to Wearside today.
Football management must be one of the few jobs where you can be sacked one day for being shite, and have clubs queueing up for your services the next. They just recycle the same old rubbish.

Is it that, or just easier to sack one manager than kick out a shite team if they have no cash?

Farcical either way.

I wonder, generally, if Utd have not improved to win the premier league, but everyone else has got conciderably worse..? With the exception of Spurs.

Money counts, look at Man City, a laughing stock of a club not so long ago ,then hey presto ! a shed load of cash and they win the title, Chelsea were in the same boat not that many years ago , football clubs are just a bottomless pit of money  :(

So . . . . de Canio appointed

and . . . . . David Milliband, yes THE David Milliband resigns as non executive director because he objects to de Canio's politics. He has been known to favour italian fascist sentiments it seems.

Millipede is a cock anyway.
He is running away to America because his little brother got the job he thought he was untitled too  so just a publicity stunt imo  ;)
Should make match of the day interesting though.
Get rid of shearer and liniker and get Paolo and Joey Barton on  :D :D

Millipede is a typical of this generation of politician, a greedy useless operator. It is not what can I do for my country, but what my country can do for me. Like BLiar, he has used his political connections as an MP to line his pockets to the tune of over £1m.  >:( >:( >:( >:(

Instead of having the good grace to accept the defeat by his brother and as a brother and close family to support him to his up most abilities, he just we into a Heath style grand sulk as a pygmy among men.

IMHO UK politics is much better off without him and the US is welcome to him.  :y :y :y

Even better if the rest of the Labour party with one or two exceptions emigrated with him, except the US don't need McRuin where they have their own version in the White House with Obummer.  :o :o :o :o

If Martin O'Neil as one of the best mangers can't get a team to perform, that I very much doubt anybody can.

It is interesting where managers are made such scrape goats at the moment and I think in many cases the directors / MD should start looking at their own performance first, where too many clubs are serial manger sackers, where the reality is the team is not good enough, which comes down to money which is the club's top floor's department. With too many club's the problems start at director / MD level, but the manager is made the scrape goat for their failings.
