I'm aware there has a been a price hike but.....
Standing charge up 20% FFS.
Day units up 25% FFS.
Night units up 40% FFS.
Night units are now getting closer in price to day units. :-X
I'll look for a cheaper deal but I think they have us by the balls.

Generator and red diesel or a running car, on LPG with the coolant running a loop through the hot water tank.

A generator will run on LPG with a few tweaks ,no need for a car .
it would still cost way to much compared to a natural gas condensing combi @ 90% efficient ,even at todays prices :(
change the burner jets and adjust the gas valve and a natural gas boiler will run on LPG too .
No doubt Opti has big forests of firewood anyway ,so just some petrol for the chainsaw and log splitter required :P
Burning climate protesters and extinction rebellion types on an open grate is the only cost effective/efficient way to heat homes :D
