Location of Transmission ECU
Omega 2.6 v6 CD 2001
Not located behind kick panel next to accelerator, only Central locking ECU

Manual or auto?

Auto it's there, but but can't recall where in relation to the CL/alarm one. My initial thought was it's above it...

Manual doesn't have one.

Its higher up, above the C/L ECU. From within the footwell, you have to look upwards.  As a guess, its about level with the door switch.
