Mot Q.
« on: 22 October 2021, 13:29:47 »

The Barge is going in for a pre test next week and I thought I would give it a quick once over.

NSF the rear lower ball joint has just under a mm of play. Is that acceptable?

It’s the one press fitted into the hub carrier...

I'm away for two weeks and it's due in 8.

If it fails spectacularly, then it still has 8 weeks MoT if I trade it in ;)

I think play in ball joints etc is a subjective thing and what one tester will fail as excessive play another tester will pass with an advisory.Only thing you can really do is present it and see what the outcome is.
