So, the French are selling immigrants to us, and we're not even putting import tax on them.  I thought they couldn't do that after Brexit.

The thing I find surprising is that these people haven't been floating across the channel for years? 

Remember the Sangatte refugee camp near Calais?  That was 20 years or so ago now and I seem to remember them trying to get on lorries and such like but not taking to the high seas to get to Blighty.

We stopped them getting on the trucks/train, so they come by boat. If we stop them coming by boat they'll come over in gliders or hot air balloons. Stop them doing that and they'll fire themselves out of huge cannons.

Spot on. And of course there are plenty of crooks to take migrants money and there is still an endlesssupply of boats.

The southern end of Spain is fighting a losing battle with drugs ( for all of Europe) coming in. That too is impossible to police. Lot of coastline.
