Changed the rear pads and adjusted the handbrake shoes on the GF's 428i, pleasant hour or so in the winter sunshine  :).

I also discovered that when it went in for service & MOT, the dealer didn't tighten the studs on one wheel properly.  ::)

Have a look at your weather app, getting colder from Sunday and down to 1°C overnight here from Wednesday.

Set off Goodyear Vector 4 seasons fitted ready for the impending ice doom :D, along with a new track control arm. No more clonks from the suspension/steering, so that's that job jobbed.

Just the emissions question to deal with... No exhaust leaks or vac leaks around the inlet. Only discrepancy is an intermittent misfire on one cylinder on the left bank.

All I can think of left is some decent fuel, injector cleaner and a good old fashioned ragging. Then get the emissions tested on the other bank as it has a legitimate dual exhaust... Left is left and right is right with no crossover or common flow after the inlet manifold...

Finally fixed Pierre,s issue. Bit the bullet and bought a new injector (well, remanufactured to be strictly accurate) which left me £138 poorer.
I wasnt completely sure that was the problem, but as soon as I fitted it, he fired up and ran normally.
MOT has run out in the interim though, so its booked in for tomorrow.
Will be nice to be back to 58mpg instead of 24, especially with current prices.

Just insured the Omega with the AA. £173 minus £47 cash back, so £127 net, which I thought was pretty good.  :)
