Nothing worm out about it. Just over 90k on the clock, goes like stink and corners on rails - in the dry.  :)
It will do plenty of miles in the summer. Omega is nicer in winter for an old fart like me though.  :y

Bit of a sad day today. Pierre failed the MOT on a broken rear spring. I had a realisation that I didnt think it was worth my time and effort in doing the job myself to save approx. £75 so booked it in to be done next Tuesday.
The second time since 1978 (and the first since 1980) that I have had a garage do work on my car, other than MOT or fitting tyres.
Im getting old.  :(

Drove the RRS over to Stamford to visit some friends who have just moved there from the USA , then to Witham on the hill for a lovely pub lunch, walked it off in Burghley House grounds. My mate was wondering what car to purchase now he's back here but now has his heart set on a RRS after riding in mine he couldn't believe just how comfortable they are.

So £75 plus £138 for the injector.

Annoying I know, but not too expensive in the great scheme of things for another year of motoring.  :y

The mighty Signum cost £500 this year. £300 for 4 new tyres, and a further £200 for new front disc and pad.

Plus the £50 for the MOT. I paid £700 for it just over two years ago, and have probably spent a total of a grand on it since then.
Hateful little contraption, but its the fuel consumption that saves it from the scrappy.

Given the ridiculous state of the used car market, you could probably have all the money back that you've spent on it if you sold it now.

Just saying...  ;)

Not sure about that. It was a cat S write off when I bought it, due to a smack up the arse, which is why it only cost £700.
If it stays reliable for the next year (wouldnt like to gamble my last fiver on that) it will pay for itself again with saving on fuel.

Be honest, Mr Bitz. You love the little Froggie jobbie, and would willingly sacrifice a kidney or lung for 'her' to survive another 12 months. . :D

For Sale

One little used kidney in good condition with one careful owner.  May need some recommissioning.

Like a shrivelled little walnut according to the Docs. Probably not worth much. ;D
Lungs had 25 years of smoking 30+ cigs per day, so probably wont be sought after either.   ::)
