General Discussion Area / The Spanner
« on: 27 April 2008, 04:20:37 »
Mick was in court for a double murder and the judge said, 'You are
charged with beating your wife to death with a spanner.'
A voice at the back of the courtroom yelled out, 'You b*stard!'
The judge continued, 'You are also charged with beating your
daughter to death with a spanner.'
Again, the voice at the back of the courtroom yelled out, 'You f*cking b*stard!!!'
The judge stopped, looked at the man in the back of the courtroom,
and said, 'Paddy, I can understand your anger and frustration at this crime,
but I will not have any more of these outbursts from you or I shall
charge you with contempt! Now what is the problem?'
Paddy, at the back of the court stood up and responded, 'For
fifteen years I lived next door to that b*stard. And every time I asked to
borrow a ****ing spanner, he said he didn't have one!'  ;D  ;D

General Discussion Area / Co-ordination... try this
« on: 13 April 2008, 08:03:45 »
How smart is Your Right Foot?
Just try this. It is from an orthopedic surgeon............
This will boggle your mind and you will keep trying over and over again to see if you can outsmart your foot, but, you can't.
It's preprogrammed in your brain!

1. While sitting where you are at your desk in front of your computer, lift your right foot off the floor and make
clockwise circles.

2. Now, while doing this, draw the number '6' in the air with your right Hand. Your foot will change direction.
I told you so!!!
And there's nothing you can do about it!
You and I both know how stupid it is, but before the day is done you are going to try it again, if you've not already done so.

Sorry but it'll drive you nuts.... ;D

Mad Joan was whizzing round the mental hospital in her wheel chair, when she was stopped by Crazy Carl.
"Licence please!" said Carl.
Joan sped off round the corner and bumped into Loony Leon.
"Insurance please!" said Leon.
Off zoomed Joan again, but she was stopped by Donkey John who had a 10 inch erection.
"Oh no!" cried Joan "not the f@@king breathalizer again!"

General Discussion Area / Tracking
« on: 30 March 2008, 21:07:50 »
I need my tracking doing, but when I went to my usual tyre firm, they checked their book and said they could not do it because the car needed to be weighted.
They sent me to another company who quoted about £100 and said it would take about 1 1/2 hours.
I notice Richierich had his done for £24ish.
Am I being conned or is their a problem with tracking Omega's?

General Discussion Area / Rear electric windows
« on: 28 March 2008, 17:47:50 »
I've just changed my rear doors, and the new ones have electric windows. I have replaced the front switches for doubles and fitted the switches in the rear door but the rear windows do not work, the lightsw are on but thats it.
I checked the plugs when fitting and the wiring seemed ok.

Can any one help?
Have I missed something?
All advice gratefully received.

Is this a load of rubbish, or is it a possibility?
I feel sure I've read about this somewhere and people were not impressed.
I can't see how it works.
Any ideas?

General Discussion Area / Thanks to Timbuk
« on: 12 March 2008, 07:00:36 »
Just a note to thank Timbuk for turning out in the evening to meet me at his unit to collect a couple of doors. I can't imagine a scrapyard doing this.
Just another example of the good guys on this website!
If you need Omega bits in the Midlands, give him a try.
Thanks again
Simon.  :y
