ah right ok....are now power limited by the gearbox??

That is an excellent question, to which i don't have an answer. From memory the standard gearbox was good for the quoted bhp and torque but not much more. The power was probably limited by costs of the power upgrades!

Nice a z20let motor?

I am going to put a c20let motor in my omega, i am hoping of reaching numbers nearly 400 horses at the wheels.'

You are using the orginal Electrict for the motor. Or you using Data sprut?

This is where the transplant became complicated, the original Canbus system of the Omega had to be wired to the ECU of the Astra Turbo, the chap who did this had detailed knowledge of Vauxhall Wiring Looms, but it still took him a few months to figure everything out.

I was under the impression that Omega's only used a CANbus on the 'Infortainment' (Siemens NCDC, screens and telematics) systems?
