Title: Information display
Post by: mav1508 on 26 March 2015, 06:44:25
Morning
My dashboard information display hasn't worked since getting the car..
I've checked the fuses. But the radio is run off the fuse, so as my radio works I've ruled this out.
Does the information display connect to the radio, if so could it be just a case of the connection has come loose..?
Just a thought.
Thanks

Is it the plod car in your profile? Different models have different displays, but most likely that the bulbs have gone :y

No.. It's a 53 plate saloon.. The plod car went ages ago..
There is no signs of life in the display at all.. Baffled.

What model and what radio... Some radios contain all the computer data/controls,some are independent of the radio. There are 5? different types of display, and of those three different versions of the MID...

Replace the bulbs, make a note of the colour and number of plugs on the back... And report back...

Oh, a picture paints a thousand words and all that ::)
