12th birthday present for mine. Wishbone bushes and tie rod outer ball joints well past their best leading to noticeable uneven wear on nearside front tyre plus the element of associated 'tramlining'. I used Lemforder wishbones (allgermanparts) and GM tie rods. MOT is due in May and we will be driving to Germany this summer so I have replaced worn discs and pads too. Set up has been done by Chemix Stourbridge, listed on Blackboots, a couple of miles away from me. Should see me through my current set of Dunlop SP Sport Fast Response (would have been a shame to 'scrub' 2 of those for lack of action).

Sincere thanks to members for the maintenance guides and OOF as a whole, much appreciated, I've used guides etc for several tasks over the last 18 months. I do the work myself these days for the pleasure of it and the associated economics.

Took it to the garage for an early morning (7.30am) MOT.

10 minutes after I arrived the garage owner had given me a coffee and a newspaper. By 8.30 I had a crisp new MOT certificate with a few advisories.
- bushes soft on front wishbones
- inner edge wear on front tyres  ::)
- rear tyres will need changing soon
- back box rusty

The exhaust is annoying. I paid for a Vauxhall exhaust (despite warnings from OOF that the quality wasn't what it was). I suppose I now have a reason to bin it & fit an Eternal exhaust (when I can work out how to order it ::))

Drove it home from work, in the cold, having set the lpg switchover to 20c vap temp from the previous 40c to get round cold running issues. It behaved perfectly. :)
