As I am a big fan of car customization, below another modification. I never understood a car like this without lighting on the doors or the floor:

Dear friends,

I have been looking for the rear spoiler of the Omega GSI for a long time, but it is very difficult to find. I found a manufacturer around here, which made a very similar customized spoiler in fiberglass.

I canceled my subscription to Photobucket. I didn't adapt to it. I found a local website to host my photos:

Dear moderator,

I canceled my subscription to Photobucket. Is it possible that the images (Photobucket) of my car in "Omega Gallery", page 2, post in 20 / Jan / 2020, will be replaced by the images below?

Thanks.

Welcome. Have you tested another ECU on your Omega? In the past I installed a power chip and the ECU stopped working perfectly. I was forced to exchange for another used one.

Thanks Luiz.
I absolutely loved owning and driving this car. They were ahead of their time (in the UK at least) and also understated. Presumably you mostly have US imports in Brazil?

Davies, most of the cars launched here are of european, japanese, american and corean origin in that order.

Davies, the state where I live (Minas Gerais) is quite hilly and the roads winding. The 225-35R20 tires greatly increased cornering stability. My 6-cylinder turbo project started in 2015, when I bought the exhaust manifold. In the following months I continued to buy the pieces without haste. At the beginning of 2018, I finally met a friend mechanic who was preparing the engine of my previous car (between 2000 and 2004 I had another car, a VW 4-cylinder turbo engine). This professional indicated me some missing parts: programmable ECU, injectors, fuel pump and finally, in April / 2018 he started the preparation. There were some unforeseen events, the main one being the "tailor-made" exhaust manifold, which had to be redone 2 times. As I was not rushing to finish the job, he worked calmly and Omega was ready in March / 2019.  :y

£ 100 for an auto gearbox? Here manual gearboxes are still the majority in cars. An automatic gearbox in the same condition costs the equivalent of £ 500 on average.

Unfortunately, car manufacturers in Brazil no longer sell station wagons like this one.

A friend's Omega 4L30E automatic gearbox moved gears in a strange way (hot and cold). We talked to several mechanics. Some said that they should dismantle the box and replace several parts, until we found a good professional, who indicated a garage with the Tech 1 scanner. The defect was just an oil pressure controlling solenoid. My suggestion is that you take your Omega in a garage with a scanner suitable for this gearbox. It may be a simple defect, as I reported above.

The previous rear spoiler installed in my car is from our Omega CD 4.1. I am happy to make my car similar to the GSI and different from the others here. Now I intend to stick the chrome details with black vinyl. I am also a big fan of Lotus Carlton (as far as we know, only 2 came to Brazil). Its gearbox is from the Corvette and the differential is from the Holden Comodore (our Omega kangaroo) V8. I think it would be practically impossible to get a Corvette gearbox. When I upgrade the engine and increase the turbo pressure, in place of the Getrag R-25, I will have to use a diesel vehicle gearbox, such as the Omega TDI or use the BMW M3 gearbox (much easier to find around here than the Corvette). :y :y :y
